Played great right out of the box - nice weight (doesn't feel extremely light), nice depth, so it doesn't feel small. The front is a darker more walnut brown, than the reddish brown shown in the photo online... but still pretty - very rustic looking.

After playing an old Ibanez for the last 40+ years (which my son took over from me), I decided it was time to get a new acoustic. Man am I glad I did, I love the looks and feel of this guitar, the action and intonation are quite good ,whether it is plugged in or not. Nice to have the built in tuner too..

58 years of keyboards and 45 years of part time guitar.

I now concentrate on only original music with a strong background in most types of rock.

"Dean let me down"
My wife bought this guitar for me for Christmas. It originally came with bracing broken supporting the guitar back which zZounds provided a discount which we appreciated. After a little time had passed I noticed the neck binding separating and that the high. E string seemed really close to the edge of the. Fretboard. Upon restringing the guitar I realized the neck was set in the guitar crooked so there was far more space at the top of the fretboard then. At the bottom causing definite playing issues as well as every bridge pin broke when restringing as if they had been baked in the sun for year and where hard and brittle. I contacted dean and they said to send the guitar to them but they would not pay for shipping which consequently cost basically half of what the guitar cost so it is not very economically feasible to do so. My opinion is it’s better off just buying another guitar from a manufacturer that takes more pride in their craftsmanship such As epiphone. Sorry dean looks like you lost a customer as I do purchase gear quite often and would have purchased more if my experience would have been better. No more deans for me. Buyer beware!!!!
