I am gona use it for a few more months till I can save up the scratch to get one with steel plates on bolth pedals
Sound
these pedals are very fast, responsive ( with about 2 hours of adjusting ) smooth, and thght. I am by no means a speed demon, hell, I dont even play metal. this thing is great for added fills and accents.
Features
the features are killer. you can adjust everything from beater angle to bord angle, it just takes some percistance. It could realy use some heavyer beaters though, the ones that come with it are to light. under the secondary pedal has velcro on the bottom to hold it in place while you beat the hell out of it.
Quality
the fit and finish is realy good, everything was tight. the only complaint I have is the primary pedal. if it had a steel plate insted of those 2 wire like braces feal kinda week and it does not fasten to the bass drum very well, it sorta wobbles.
Value
aside from the beatters you cant touch anything this good for the price. I have played the pacific ( not worthey of the DW name ) the pulse is worthless. if you are looking quality pedal for cheep this is it.
Manufacturer Support
the company that ouns gibralter ouns dixon. they are real easy to work with. and they speak english ( WAHOOOO!!!!! )
The Wow Factor
it aint anything fancy, it looks like a cheep dbl bass pdl.

"The Dixon Double Bass Drum Pedal - it's worth it"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I don't know that, because I just used it, I don't own it.
Sound
I've just used it and it sounds very, very good.I can't express the feeling when you play with it.I am a bass player, but I play the drums, for fun and to learn and Iplayed at a friend, who has Amati drums with Sabian cymbals and he got this double pedal. It sounds very good, it has a clean sound, that depends on the bass drum and also, it's very senzitive and you can play very well with it.
Quality
This product is very well made.It hasn't any loose parts and it's very reliable,I don't worry something will brake, I just play as loud and good as I can because i know it is a quality product.About the time lasting I can't tell you much, because I played just a couple of times on it and yes i think it's made for the use on the road.
Value
Yes, I can say this product is worth it's price.
The Wow Factor
In short words, it's sexy.It looks very good, with that black color.
