"Stunning piece of equipment."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
For the value and all that it contains for so less, it deserves a 10.
Sound
It sounds great with amp modeling (for the overdrive mainly) and the different effects each sound very good.
Features
It contains most of the effects that you might ever want. The down side to them is that you cannot use them in conjunction with each other. Also, it lacks the control you have over the effects you use. For example, when you use Flange, you can only control the depth and the rate while in real life you can control the depth, rate, manual feed, and the scream (I don't remember the technical name for this).
Ease of Use
It is extremely easy to use and as long as you understand how each of the limiters for each effect work (this is why you KEEP your manual) then you can breeze through it with no problem.
Quality
It looks great and sounds great but...... The faceplate scratches easy. If the batteries get low it will freeze and sometimes delete your saved settings. (which is why you plug it into the wall!!!!) The effects are good, but not as good as the real thing (it is a PROCESSER not a PEDAL)
Value
It is worth it just for the reverb, delay, compression, and noisegate/ limiters. All of these work awesome and couldn't be improved.
The Wow Factor
It is alright in category. It isn't the prettiest thing, but you buy it for the value, not the sex appeal (you have over $20,000 worth of effects in here!).

"This Box Makes You A Star"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If lost or stolen, I would hunt other Pawn Shops and see if I can find other newer DIGI Tech products.
Sound
This little gray box is awesome. I found it at a Pawn Shop and offered $25.00 for it and they took it. I've had for 2 weeks and the ease of the pedal is easy, just need to READ the manual and play with for a while to figure it out
Features
The built-in effects are great. I played in a band 30 years ago, and it brings the sound of my 10" speaker Crate Amp sound like my old Marshall One Stack. Exaggerating a little but the sound and the effects are great
Ease of Use
Read....Read....and Read. That simple.
Quality
The Gray Box looks great, durable and sturdy. Like I stated, bought it at a Pawn Shop, with original box, AC adapter and manual.
Value
Well just got started again, and for 25.00 bucks, what do I got to lose.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't used it yet.
The Wow Factor
I've used pedals (eg Fuzz, Grunge, Chorus and Delays), what I like the presets are awesome, and you get to meddle and play Frankenstien on this Box to create your personal sound.

"SEX IN A LITTLE MECHANICAL BOX..."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
man, 10 is as high as they will let the rating go. i was looking for somewhere in the 28 area.
Sound
simply amazing. this product will suit heavy metal, bluegrass, psychedelic, rock'n'roll, what ever you play, its here, and if the sound doesnt suit you, you can edit every preset and save it to your likings.
Features
tuner is hard to use but it saves alot of time, some times it jumps around and it has induced several headaches, but youll get the hang of it. sound and presets are amazing, freedom of choice and editing, even more amazing.
Ease of Use
well, it will take one night in the music room and youll have it figured out. for the price, you get way more than what you pay for. get it before digitech goes bankrupt.
Quality
friggin ten. metal case, plastic buttons, but it will take a beating. not that becuase its a "stompbox" that you should feel the need to stomp on it.
Value
DUDE, JUST FRIGGING BUY IT. GO. NOW. PRESS THE LITTLE "BUY ME" BUTTON. my friend bought a BIG processor and it cost $499, he says that this is better or at least as good...
Manufacturer Support
uhh.... never had a single problem with it. so, yeah...
The Wow Factor

"RP 100"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have had my Tp 100 for almost 16 years. I have used this thing a lot as well as keeping it in my storage building for a while and after the hot and cold it still works great. I would recommend this to anyone who plays for fun or small gigs.

"Not a bad cheap prossessor."

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars

I wouldn't personally replace it if it breaks or stolen. Got it for my nephew.
Sound
Not bad for the bucks. Good for the new player without the cash for a real deal.

It does have digital verb and delay, that work. the other stuff is alright.
Ease of Use
Not hard to use at all. Just sit with it for an eve and you can figure it out.
Quality
Case sratches to easy and looks beat after a short time. But its been dropped a thousand time and still wotks. Not bad atall
Value
43.00 With all the stuff in there its a deal.
Manufacturer Support
Diditech has good support but most likely you'll out grow this thing before you need any.

"The DidiTech RP100 is probably the best effects pedal for beginner guitarist."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
i've had mine for 3 years, and it gets old after a while because it dosnt have an expression pedal and you want more sounds. i choose this pedal because its all i needed at the time.
Sound
most of the sounds sound good. but some just need to be deleted from the pedal. I have used it with the Zoom GFX-5 and it sounded great. You need to turn up the amp volume or use more than one amp to get it lound enough, it seams like the pedal makes it quieter.
Features
the only accessorie I use is the "AMP Type" knob.
Ease of Use
Like most pedals, its easy to go through all the sounds and find one you really like, and you can change the effect of the sound if you want.
Quality
I took this pedal on a move from Alaska to Illionis, and droped it hundreds of times, and all it got was a few scratches. it still works fine, and I never worry that it will break.
Value
if your just starting out and need a pedal, its worth the price. but if ur more advanced, its not worth it.
Manufacturer Support
i havent needed any service or repairs.
The Wow Factor
the silverish color it has is the best looking thing on it, but the design dosnt look like a "cool" pedal.

DigiTech RP100 Effects Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
After three years, I just can't complain. If you're on a budget, get it.
Sound
Not bad. If you fiddle around with it for a while, and you get to know the product, you can get some pretty good-sounding distortions out of it. The wah's are so-so, the worst effects in the box. The other effects do their job, but they're techy effects and I don't use them. Somebody else may be really pleased, though.
Features
It's got way more than I use, I'm a pretty straightforward guy, but I guess for a multi-effects box it's got less than others. I got the expression pedal addon, but the wah's don't sound too great, but I don't really use that either.
Quality
Rock solid construction. I own this thing for three years now, and it's just as new. The only problem is that sometimes the parameter knobs flip out - going all over the place. The way to solve it is to ease off the extreme settings (ie. 1 and 99). When you have it set to 99 it gets confused sometimes. Other than that, no problem.
Value
For $150 CAN (3 years ago) you just can't go wrong.
Manufacturer Support
Never used it. If you don't need support, that's good support.
The Wow Factor
Good looking, solid construction, very decent sounds. Pretty damn good. Will probably end up using it even if I don't need it.
