I have been using Jamman Solo for a years and before that I used Boss RC-2. The only my complain about Jamman Solo looper was the number of external loops it supported (100) and rather difficult procedure to replace the SD-card in order to switch to another bank of external loops. Jamman Solo XT betas both of the above devices. Device itself is designed perfectly and functions great and reliably providing setereo I/O. Easy access to the side inserted micro-SD card up to 32G in order to quickly replace the banks of externally saved loops. Excellent sound quality and many more pros. The problems began when you run the applicable host software - Jammanger Solo XT in order to save your prerecorder loops from PC into the device. This application looks to be deigned by a diletant programmer (probably a university student) without good testing. Software is very slow, has a lot of bugs, requires you to wait for a long time in order to change the loop properties and play the loop on PC, and many more. Also, I had accumulated a large library of loops (about 500) along the years with my previous Jamman Solo device hosted by previous release of Jammanager application. New Jammanger XT application does not allow me to import old library to the new environment. It tooks me about two days to do this manually. Very bad unprofessional software design eating up a lot of your time and requiring a lot of patince. Moreover, it even has problems with installation onto Windows XP, although installs great on Windows 7. Digitech has poor support and looks to be not interested to receive custmer suggestion and to improve the software. Meanwhile, I'm looking to refuse using the Jammangare XT sowtware and will be managing my loops manually via PC by installing micro-SD card into the card reader and writing loops directy via PC as onto external disk. Once you are not experienced PC user, I would not recommend to buy this device until Digitech will significantly redesign the software.
