I plan on using this for a cple of years or until more improved technology and more features come out on a new Denon Console.
Sound
The sound is great. You wont be dissapointed with this unit. No need for an I O it has a soun d card built in. Big thumbs up for that feature.
Ease of Use
Very easy to use and bundled with VDJ also very easy to use. I found this easier to use compared to ther Comtrollers I have had in the past.
Quality
Very high quality, dont need to worry about breaking this too easy..

I have not dealt with Denon but have read several reviews about the support and company. I dont think it wll be an issue.
The Wow Factor
This is a great loking product and every button and knob is very smooth. This is made to last and you can tell as soon as you unbox this unit ans feel just how solid the unit truely is.

I have been using the Dennon MC6000 for a little over a year and overall this controller is a quality piece of gear. The basic controls are logically layed out. Even with my big hands I haven't had any problems cue point juggling, fx modulation or cueing. Even in a dark environment it is logical to use and the back lit buttons are easily visible.
The problem is delving in the more advanced features of Traktor pro 2 The MC6000 gets more complicated to use. There is quality TSI file support at the Traktor Bible website but when you use the loop record and play samples it starts boggling my mind. I'm not saying its impossible but the learning curve is steep and I am just getting my head around the gear needed to climb it.
Overall the machine is solid, robust, metal with excellent connections and quality drivers on my windows 7 machine. would I buy it again..... I don't know, I am leaning towards more of a controllerist focus and I think there may be better options for all my button pressing pleasure in the future. BUT If I needed a high quality 2-4 deck controller with a good size (easy to connect in a tight Dj booth) excellent looping and FX manipulation capabilities I would buy one again. For sure. Hope this helps.

Sound
I am a mobile DJ who specializes in weddings mostly and purchased this controller to use as my ceremony/back up system. Therefore I honestly can't give the controller a true sound rating as of yet because I've only used it with a single Behringer powered speaker in mono mode for a ceremony so far. The sound that I did get out of it so far sounded great. The true test would be when I use it at a party as my main system played through my JBL speakers.
Features
This is a great controller for mobile DJs and was exactly what I was looking for! Love having the 2 mic inputs, booth monitor, XLR main outputs, 4 deck control which is easy to navigate, seemless integration with Traktor Pro 2 which is what I use. I do wish that it came bundled with Traktor in the US though, I use Traktor and had to purchase it separately. Or at least be given the option to choose which software you want with it.
Ease of Use
The controls are very easy to use, and work very well with the software. The one thing I'm still looking into is the way the faders are assigned to the decks in Traktor. The two inside faders seem to be deck A and B respectively while the outsides are C and D respectively, this can get a little confusing instead of just A thru D from left to right across the board. I'm still learning some of the ins and outs of the Controller and Software settings though so I may even be able to change this and just don't know it yet. I like the different colors to differentiate between decks A and B and C and D though.
Quality
The unit is built like a brick! I say that in a good way, all metal chassis, nice smooth faders and knobs that aren't too loose. Excellent quality compared to some of the other controllers on the market that are plastic chassis. This controller looks and feels like a professional piece of equipment. I have to say that I currently own Pioneer equipment for my main system and love it but I went with the Denon for this set-up because I didn't like the plastic chassis on the Pioneer controller and the lack of XLR main outputs as well as only 1 mic input on the pioneer. This is why I say that this controller is an excellent choice for mobile DJs who do weddings.

I upgraded from the Herc RMX to this only to find out you cant run time codes through it. I give props to the RMX for not needing a seperate control device. As for the rest of it If you are going to call it a four deck control then put four play buttons on it for Gods sake!!!!

Denon has builded a descent unit, I've been eyeing this MC 6000 mixer for a while, I just couldn't afford to purchase one before; thanks to Zzounds 4 payment program, I was able to buy one. The Denon MC 6000 has fallen short to my expectations, it's quite pricey for what it does and there's not much support from the manufacturer. By almeans this is not Zzounds fault, they just sell the product, they don't make it.

The sound is such an improvement over my last setup, I love it and cant wait to get out in public to show it off
Features
Lots of new features to learn. I would have given it a 10, but I still struggle with the lack of instructions on what does what. For the experiance DJ most of these is a no brainer, but I am in the middle of the pack and would have likje more examples.
Ease of Use
this was the only 8 I will give, again because I am not an expert DJ, nor am I a beginner. There is alot to work with here and more video demos would be helpful, along with a few more details. I would tend to say most of my questions were about what the software does or doesn't do, so it is not Denon's fault, I just feel if you know how to use it better out of the box, you tend to tell others.
Quality
This is a solid piece of equiptment and for the most part, everything seems to be doing what it was intended too. I love it.
Value
Here at zZounds, I got the best price after searching the internet. It was well worth the effort.

Denon has answered all my questions, and even some that were not really their issue. Thier support is the best I have dealt with. Also remember if you have Traktor 3 LE, you will need to upgrade as this will not work with it. I am glad I was forced to upgrade, I love the Traltor Pro and this unit.

Lots of features, though I stayed with Tracktor and bought the upgrade, they are a few things that are different but for the most part This is a great feature based unit

There are alot of the features I do not know how to use and I am a med experianced DJ. I am sure more seasoned DJ's get it, but if you want to sell more, spen more money on showing us how to use the features. Overall I am happy with what I know how to use and Denon has great support

I've been a Mobile/Club DJ for 33 years and sound installer/engineer for 27 years. The MC6000 is an awesome controller with great features, strong build quality and great sound quality. I dropped it in a coffin with CDJs and laptop and was ready for my next gig. It is the best controller out there for mobile DJs. And would also work well in a club. It works great straight out of the box with Traktor and Virtual DJ. I used it with the new MacBook Pro 13 Core i7 2.7ghz. But also used it with my old Acer laptop which has AMD Turion to see how it would handle at a gig (with CDJs as back up just in case) and it worked Absolutely Flawless with no latency issues, freeze ups or drops whatsoever for 6 hours running the supplied VirtualDJ 7LE software. Could not be any happier.
Sound
The Denon DN-MC6000 sounds awesome. I've used the MC6000 with JBL EON515,PRX615,Mackie SRM450v2 and QSC K12 at 4 different events. Also used it in a system with DBX DriveRack PA, Crown MacroTech MA-5000i amps and JBL SRX speakers. The sound is Clean and Clear with good (tight clean) Bass and good Dynamics. Most of my files are WAV ripped from CDs and AIFF, so the sound is cleaner and has slightly better dynamic range than with MP3. What few MP3s i have are at 320K. Also i use the highest quality cables possible (AudioQuest,Cardas,KimberKable,etc. Mogami,MonsterCable on pro audio end.) Used it with Denon DN-S3700 and Pioneer CDJ-2000, worked and sounded awesome. Even hooked it up to an audiophile system (Bryston 4B ST amp, Thiel CS2.4 speakers, AudioQuest cables) and was impressed with how good it sounded. I tested the MC6000 with different types of systems and got good results from all.
Features
It has all the features you need in one unit for any mobile gig. Also would feel right at home in a club. The Virtual DJ LE software works flawless straight out of the box. I am a Traktor Pro user and was impressed with how good VirtualDJ 7LE worked. No need to upgrade to VDJ Pro if you don't want to. I'm using it with Traktor Pro i already had.
Ease of Use
It is very easy to use and figure out.
Quality
The MC6000 has a solid build and feel. All the knobs, faders, buttons feel solid and responsive. All metal case is a huge plus.
Value
For what it does, how solid it's built and how good it sounds, you won't find a better value out there.
