Low output buckers that are fine clean but let the player know right up front they were made to be gain monsters. I ran it through my way overdrive distortion and delay pedals. Great sound that gives nice crunchy tone and pro-level sustain. My first V-style but running my hands up and down this fretboard is a treat. Binding, lock tuners, light mahogany, well cut instructed with boutique level pickups. Reminds me in terms of quality and value of my 2017 Gibson SG American standard. Very happy. This instrument is made to be played. Get one.
