Look at it this way. When you try to drink out of a coffee stir straw you can’t get much out of it fast. But when you upgrade your straw to a 1/2 inch straw you can take as big of a drink as you need and as fast as you want. Lol Same goes for power cords. Thicker the wire faster the power can travel to the amplifier. When bass hits it takes a lot of power fast. So long story short. Yes I would recommend the upgrade. But also make sure to upgrade your other power cables like extension cords. Don’t run anything less the 12 gage wire. I plan on buying another 6 of these.
