"Stop wasting time and money and get EXP's"

I switched for a while to Martin SP's. For awhile I was getting breakage at a higher rate then was acceptable But an rep of D'Addario gave me two sets and they lasted a good while so I returned to the fold as it were.
Sound
The strings aren't as bright as an 80?20 but I don't want that, what they do is stand up to weeks of hard playing without breaking and retain their tone, just keep 'em clean and they are a great value.
Features
Colored ball ends, and the packing though when you open for individual strings in a dark club it still can get a bit hairy, but still easier than most to find what you're looking for.
Ease of Use
I play long gigs, up to 2 a day and sometimes up to 6 hours, these strings along with my Taylor allow me to play for long stretches without completely fatiguing my hand.
Quality
On occasion I've had some breakage, but no more then expected and I play on the shore so salty air can corrode strings rather quickly.
Value
yes, but they ain't cheap!
Manufacturer Support
The rating is one of expectation, I have met employee's of D'Addario and all have been most supportive. I have not dealt with customer help dept's.
The Wow Factor
I won't comment on "sex Appeal" but these are a working musician's friend, They are a value added item and make life a little easier.

"dull sounding"

Overall: 1 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
very dull sounding and dark tones over ...it lacks clarity ...I think it is because of the so call protective coating applied to the sting ...way too much put on them as compared to other coated stings ....these are not at all in the same league as the incredible long lasting and crip sounging "Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic Strings". Spend you momey on the "Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic Strings" ...you'll be glad you did.
