Set up time is less than 5 minutes. I think it works great in sound mode. If you run it in sound mode it changes the patterns so the don't repeat. You have some settings options which I am still exploring.Gig bar move functions best with haze and or smoke. The beams are pleasantly defined. Stowing is easy in the included padded carrying case. I don't have a lot of room so easy efficient storage is important to me. For the money its the best bang for your buck and gives you a nice vibe. An easy way to improve your show.

I want to start by speaking about some of the reviews on this product. There’s a review on here that says “it’s not bright” YES it is! I used in a big indoor venue and it covered every square inch! The same review also stated that you could not control the boundaries of the moving heads. YES YOU CAN! You just need to have a little knowledge on a little something called DMX controlling. This Gig Bar Move is amazing. Priced incredible, easy set up/tear down. Comes with the cases, you’re able to take this thing out for a spin with ZERO knowledge. BUT for more experienced engineers, you can expand the abilities of the unit. 10/10 product for sure.

This unit is not only good for the DJ but it works great for bands also! I use the gig bar move for the middle unit and use 2 gig bar 2s one on each side in slave mode to the center choices are almost unlimited! You can operate in auto,sound, or manual! For under 2 grand this combo is awsome!

For the amount of lighing effects you get with this light it is super cheap, easy set up and take town. Awesome storage for portability. If you are looking for the big fixtures with tons of light for a bigger venue, this light isn't for you. Pay the big bucks with a truss system and dmx controller. For a small venue, I would suggest to add this to lights you may already own like I have, or pair it with a second one or an earlier version of the gigbar. I do small dj parties and small heavy metal band shows. I am a small unit with some older lights and this pops off great. I love this little light combo.

My GigBar Move just arrived today. After unboxing it and setup it up, I started playing around with it and learning the features. I LOVE IT!!! The Chauvet DJ GigBar Move is ME proof. It’s ridiculously easy to use, it’s easier to set up and I haven’t even done my first show with it yet. I already can’t wait to get a second one to compliment my setup.

I bought this to set up at a wedding, very happy with this bar! Very simple to set up and the ease of settings had me looking professional in literally minutes. I highly recommend this bar for anything from gigs to weddings!

The light gets the job done. I use two of these and its more then enough to cover a hotel ball room. The only bad thing is that it has a led menu screen and mine arrive with a dark hard to read menu screen. It was my fault that i didnt return it as soon as i was done with my gig as I was unaware to the 45 day return policy. The gig bar came already set up for sound activation but not able to see the screen to switch to DMX mode or anything else

I had been dealing with a whole truss of lights with about 20 moving heads and pars that took about an hour+ to set up. With the Gigbar Move it’s less lighting power even with two of them, but it is SO EASY to set up. I love them!

I love these lights. They add so much to the show. Compact with an impact. But... The case is not well made . The hinge screws ripped from the case on literally the first time I opened it. I've been extremely cautious with it ever since. And now the zipper has come off. The padding inside is great. But the construction of the case is just awful. You're gonna have to be very careful with this. The slightest move will destroy the case.

So this thing is almost $1000 But the lights are so weak you can barely see them. The idea behind the gig nat is awesome but I f Chavute had gone the cheap way of making this light. Ok so I am a wedding dj so o got this light for fast set up and take down. Pro easy and fast set up! Ok why designs on auto and sound. Cons IT IS NOT BRIGHT AT ALLCan’t control the boundaries of the moving heads. Some of the pre-programmed shows kind of suck. Now would I purchase this light again? Sure but not at asking price! I wouldn’t pay more then $600 for this light
