I still love the stand BUT you have to use a right angle plug if your instrument has an end pin jack. A straight plug will hit the ground before the instrument sits in the stand. It is worth buying a new cable because this is a great stand

I just got this stand today and I am impressed. It holds both acoustic and electric guitars, very sturdy and fits in my guitar case. I will be ordering 3 more soon

"Don't buy for bass!"

Do NOT buy this stand for your bass guitar!! It is extremely flimsy and your instrument will end up on The floor. This stand dropped my $3,000 bass off of a low stage (thank God it was a low stage) on to the floor which bent one of the tuning pegs. On a gig last night it dropped my Fender jazz fretless on to the concrete during outside gig!! It's very small and portable but very weak and flimsy. Overall a poor choice for bassists and probably any guitar for that matter. 2 thumbs down!!!!
