Honestly, if you're looking for a guitar that you want to have fun playing, this is it. The only reason I put three stars for value is because it's made in Korea, but still priced in the range of made in USA and made in Japan guitars and doesn't come with a case or stainless steel frets. But, it has all the wow factor you could ever want in a guitar. When you play it, it just feels like perfection. The feel, the tone, all of it. The trem stays in tune like a champ even with heavier whammy use. I know that it's priced higher than the comparable Pro Mod DK models that are made in Mexico, but it's worth it. The neck feels better to me. While I loved those models, the I'd often get fatigue from extensive playing. Not the case with this model. My other main guitars are a 90's Ibanez Jem BSB and an Aristides 060, and I'd have a hard time letting this one go over the others. It's that good. I was worried that I'd need to deal with fret sprouting like some of the Pro Mod DKs I've played, but so far, none of that. The pickups are killer. If I recall correctly, these were the same pickups used in some of the old Petrucci Ibanez models.
