I recall considering buying this guitar about 8 or 9 months ago and found it to be on back order. It seems that it was for good reason.Never have I ever had the privelage to purchase a high quality guitar at this price point. The guitar came shipped in flawless condition. From the fret work, the paint job (black version), and to the fishman pickups. Also to note how low the action was on the guitar without any buzz.The guitar also came in almost perfect intonation, which was strange because the saddles were perfectly level to one another an in center position with plently of room for any adjustment. Perhaps that had to do with how the floating bridge was setup tension wise.Whoever built and setup this guitar is clearly a professional. If this is how Charvel makes guitars in Mexico, then yes i highly recommend this to anyone. There's no reason to pay more for a guitar to guarantee this much quality for this price.

First guitar that came in bad a dismantled tremolo and a stripped screw in the neck. What’s up with that? I sent it back to zZounds and they shipped out another same day. Excellent customer service by zZounds!! Thank you.New guitar showed up last night. I opened box this morning… Trem is all out of wack and the bridge pickup is touching the strings after I tuned it (standard tuning). Come in Charvel….. you need to step up the quality control this is pathetic… after a setup and adjustments the guitar will be epic but I can’t even play this one either right out of the box. I expect better from you Charvel.

Just received this guitar and it’s great. After changing to my preferred string gauge and tuning the guitar required little to no set up on the bridge. However the pick ups were so up high that whenever I palm muted it would choke the string. Also noticed my guitar didn’t come with the tremolo arm nowhere does it say sold separately so was wondering if I was the unlucky one. Overall guitars great reached out to zZounds to see if I can get the tremolo arm sent to me or if it is sold separately.

Great instrument, it is one of nicest guitars I’ve ever played. I love the Fishman pickups. The neck and body are superb. zZounds never disappoints,I will buy another Charvel from zZounds!!!
