this charvel is not american made.mid eighties japanese with fort worth texas neckplate.not worth more than 450.00...please educate yourselves before buying ..clue real san dimas charvels have a strat style headstock with the old logo..no hockey stick necks

We got sucked in on the name..And got a jap Fender spec'd guitar with Charvel on the headstock
Sound
Sounds thin . You'll have to put a real pickup ..Like 98% of the single humbuckers hot rod strats..I'd use the ole' EMG 81

Nothing new in 30 years
Ease of Use
Plays like an Ibanez or a Jap Jackson..$400.00 woth of guitar for close to $1800.00
Quality
It is what it is a stock 1 color paintjob..They aint Da Vinci
Value
$300 in parts ..$1500.00 for the Charvel name on the headstock
Manufacturer Support
As soon as they got your cash..They closed shop for another 25 years
The Wow Factor
The took our childhood and packaged it for pennies on the dollar..and charged us dollars on those pennies
