So I’m using this with my boss katana 100Head Which sounds amazing by the way.But I live in an upstairs apartment and I repurposed a peavey blues Classic which went down the tubes and had a 16 ohm Speaker and I needed an 8ohm So I slapped it in the box and enclosed it, but the poor neighbors downstairs they don’t speak English. They can’t even complain and it has Some roar . So after taking the back off, it’s definitely better but would be great in a bottom floor with concrete possibly foam. I don’t get near the roar or bottom on my 412 Marshal. But you can never have too many speakers even if I end up not using it for this purpose it’s still sounds good.
Sound
It’s very filling. Bottle a little too heavy, fully enclosed I think it needs to breathe a little bit for lead guitar. Great for blues possibly jazz but not if you’re scooping your EQ.
Features
I am pleased that they at least make a 15 inch guitar speaker. That’s not a bass speaker and that’s why I jumped on it. But kind of might as well be a base speaker with some Mids and highs .
Ease of Use
I have not been able to even wear it in yet because I can’t turn it up as I live right across the street from the police station. Also, the neighbors all around me are above 60.
Quality
Definitely well-made it’s a Celestian Their iconic and for good reason you’re not just paying for a name it’s the quality. It’s just the name that you’re paying for. They obviously can’t afford higher quality things..
