"Disappointing, poor quality and poor support."
I bought this set locally. It did not include any assembly manual or parts list, nor could I find anything on the Crush website, except one photo to attempt to go by, but even that did not match the parts in the box. The bass drum ring was missing, fortunately the store cannibalized one from the demo model on the floor for me. The posts for the hi and mid toms on the bass are much shorter than shown in the photo, and so don't allow much room for proper tilt. One of the mounting wingnuts for the hi tom stripped out (the top part stripped, not the threads) with very little pressure (not enough to hold it stable). The cymbals were (as expected) terrible, but since I knew this would be the case, I had already swapped them out for a Zildan and such. The mount for the crash/ride is missing the middle post (actually, it had the wrong part in the box). I am taking this back to the store. Be warned, this product is flimsy and very poorly supported by the manufacturer.
Musical Background:
Since 1979, keyboard, drums, guitar, flute, djembe, sitar, bass, vocals, recording
Musical Style:
Rock, blues, jazz, classical, punk, funk, folk.

"This is a beginners beginner kit"
Take note that this is not a Crush built kit. It is a GP Percussion kit with Crush labeling. Don't know why they would put their name on this. There are much better beginner kits out there. You can get the same kit from Target or Wal-Mart for about $330, It just won't say Crush on it. Poor quality.
