Wow, I HAD a Taylor 214-ce-k and I sold it when Breedlove went above and beyond my expectations in terms of customer service. long story short: I commented on a post on a social media website and they ended up emailing and calling me. through those events I ordered this guitar and i don't regret it at all. Compared to the Taylor it is leaps and bounds better quality. Sound quality is more authentic. The wood is more beautiful the neck feels better. My only complaint really is I use an LR baggs acoustic pedal for eq-(don't remember the name its the big one though) and my Breedlove sounds better going through a direct box rather than the pedal which isnt a problem its just nice to be able to mute the guitar and boost it but ill get over that. All and all Breedlove shows that they are more superior in every way comparative to any of the 3 giants (Taylor, Martin and Gibson) I would buy this guitar 1000 times over. as far as being made in China it doesn't even matter to me, the thing is so nice you just don't care. there are only 800 of these specific guitars out there I suggest you get one before they are gone for good!

Blown away at the volume and sustained tone it's just not a Chinese playing guitar. I've had a Taylor 200 series and 400 series and this is much better quality and tone. Love it !

I've been playing guitar for almost 40 years now and this guitar was like my 15th purchase from Zzounds. I was really looking for a high end instrument here and looked at every Gibson and Martin on this website. I've tried Taylors and they're not worth mentioning here. Though I've always wanted a Martin guitar, I've done much research into Martin And they are not the company they once were. Martin now offers models that are made in Mexico and they are not all wood guitars anymore. Martin now has started using man-made materials and plastics in it's guitars and the fact that they have many models made in Mexico, they've lost my respect permanently. With Gibson they make wonderful acoustic guitars, but you pay unreal prices just for the Gibson name on the headstock. Even though this Breedlove is made in China (yeah still crying over this fact) The quality, playability and sound of this instrument is surreal, I would recommend this model to any serious player.

Not as good as I thought. Does not project as well as my Takamine. Nice looking guitar. For the money it is ok. Not much support from ZZounds. All I got was a guitar and a gig bag, no registration card, owners manual, truss rod key, etc. Notified them and basically got nothing in return. The guitar plays good. Sounds good with my toneamp, but every guitar sounds good with that!!
