"An AWESOME set of effects but much more than that."

Allows you to use multiple effects pedals singly or in combination on "Maunual" or tap in to myriad "Presets" provided by Boss rather than buy a slew of individual pedals to obtain the same effect. Moreover, via USB the ME-90 is an interface for editing and recording with the software provided. I am still exploring everything the ME-90 can do, and I love it so far. What I appreciated much less is that I had to register my ME-90 with a QR code (which I didn't have on my phone and NEVER use) and that there was virtually no printed instructions on Usage (just a multi language instruction on what NOT to do). It seems many manufacturers abandon us to seeking out instructions on our own once they sell us the product, and I find this is The case with MANY name brands nowadays (NOT progress to me). I also think Boss could have included a 9V adapter with the product, even if they had to tack on a couple of bucks for it, which is disappointing. However, there is adequate instructions on YouTube and elsewhere and at $29 a month (thanks to zZounds amazing pay as you play plans) I guess I cannot complain much about the shortcomings. For $349 it is worth every penny to me. Thanks zZounds.

So, I bought this when it very first came out, I was back and forth with it and it had a learning curve to it. Best move I’ve made was buying the Bluetooth adapter and doing the software update and syncing it to my iPhone. The Tone Studio is amazing and really lets you dial in some killer tones. I mean I can cover anything from Jason Aldean and a Tele modern country to Down Nola in C# and everything in between. I don’t gig out anymore. I’m strictly a bedroom player with several guitars and play everything from country southern rock stuff to blues and old metal and stoner metal so I need versatile and this does it. I run it into a Katana V1 Artist that is direct plug in. I selected the best sounding input and tweaked some knobbys and bing bang boom. Its sweet. Super clean to super gainy, the amp sims are really good. If you are wanting something to learn on or write and be creative with, this is it. It will do literally anything you want. Absolutely add the BT Adapter to your order. Its the icing on the cake.
Sound
Its really good, its got great effects and reverbs. Superb amps Boss created and modeled. AIRD is way more advanced than COSM which was always my gripe about the ME line.
Features
Being able to select from multiple inputs to match any amp or board.I don’t like the wah staying on but thats not a deal breaker, I use my Dunlop and leave the foot pedal as a volume controller or pitch stuff
Ease of Use
Once you download the app and tweak, you can really fine tune the effects much better than the knobs. They work good but the tone studio is next level.
Quality
It’s tough for me but I take care of my gear. I think you could gig with it as a stand alone just fine and be reliable into any bars PA.
Value
Yes, its worth every penny. The BT Adapter is extra but really takes this to the next level.
Manufacturer Support
Yes, they answered all my questions about the software and updates to the unit. I have used Boss since the 90s, they are amazing and make great stuff.
The Wow Factor
It’s definitely a 10 for me. I mean I can use pedals from my collection or one of my other amps. This makes it super easy and quick to just dial an idea in my head into my phone and kinda get a baseline so I can get music made. It saves tons of time from tweaking and not playing. Thats important for me.

"Still learning it but I think it’s a beast.."

I got this because I was sick of menu diving. This is right there and like dialing in stomp boxes. The amp models are light years ahead of the old COSM preamps. I’m running this into a Katana Artist and it sounds fantastic. I’m a bedroom player and just wanted something to be able to dial in for songs I’m learning.
