My go to for silent practicing since I got it. Before my setup was an instrument cable from my guitar or bass to an interface. The interface was then cabled to my iPhone or iPad, And wired earbuds for sound. On the iPad or iPhone I had to run an app to get a modeled amp sound, and another app for YouTube or Audio for backing tracks. This is a far cleaner solution whether stand alone or with a singular app for backing tracks or a YouTube feed. The same app allows for programming sound amp model settings and effects. The modeled amp sounds are good enough for practicing and in a pinch for recording. Charge time is reasonable and battery life is decent.Build quality is excellent as always with Boss. It’s got better features than the nearest competitor in the same or similar form factor. I haven’t had any issues that required anything more than what the manual or online self support required. The sounds are pretty good out of the box and are programmable through the phone app. It’s never going to compete with my Kemper or Marshall stage rigs. But it’s not really meant to. It’s a convenient silent practice amp and hits well above its price point in capabilities and features. Boss hit it out of the park on this one.

Purchased on release date. Showed up yesterday. Was in on position when removed from the box so it was completely dead. Charged overnight, charge indicator green this morning. Won't power on. Sent in exchange/return info this morning. Currently backordered poor first experience. Hopefully backorder won't take forever since I purchased the day of release. 1star so far but that's on boss, not zZounds.
