I have a few amps. I play primarily acoustic & I lead worship. There are times where I'm just by myself & then sometimes I have a full band.
This amp is great! The very 1st time I lead with it, I got compliments on how good sound was. It can really help bring the whole mix to life if used right. I wouldn't trade it for anything else on the market. Just make sure you pick up the GA-FC to utilize all the sweet functions this amp has built in. Last suggestion: don't go over the top, use the effects to add to the sound & you're sure to have a better set!

love this amp. Quality all around. Does exactly as promised. I do rooms of up to 50 people. Bars, clubs.etc. I can plug in a Sure 58 and my Martin acoustic electric and have all the sound i want .

Wow. This little amp rocks! Admittedly, it's the first acoustic amp I've played around with in about 7 years, but I just can't believe how much BOSS packed in to this little beast! The sound is warm and full, and the AR options really allow you to get that warmth from just about any electro-acoustic. The 60W 'Live' version provides plenty of power for practice / small venue, the feedback controls work well, the effects are solid, not "cheesy", and the overall sound is just "rich". Smaller than I expected, but again, I'm used to the previous generation of amps. Very solid build quality - cabinet is solid, knobs and buttons feel smooth and precise, as do the detents on the input jacks. I dinked the 'features' category1/2 a star for limiting the looper to only 40 seconds. It would also be nice to have a non-volatile memory function on the looper, but the DI / USB outs will allow you to capture anything you want (record) for future use ... I did a lot of research before buying, and all in all the BOSS ACS amps provide the most bang for the buck in the portable acoustic amp category. Most of all, the sound is just beautiful. Would HIGHLY recommend!
