This system SOUNDED fantastic, however, the Sub 1 malfunctioned after a couple months. Sent the unit to Bose for a warranty replacement, in 11-21, still haven't received a replacement (2-14-21) due to stock issues. Fortunately I had purchased an additional sub 2 otherwise I wouldn't have been able to continue to use the system.

I bought the l1 Pro 32 from Guitar center about a month ago. I’ll be honest, it’s the best sound I’ve heard. I pair this system with the Sub1. I used system for Dj gigs at a local club on weekends, From the get go, first time used power unit and set it as instructed. Sub level at 4/5, towers at 8/9 o’clock position. Powered it out and play some music and noticed sub didn’t engage right away with tower, no sound came out for 10 seconds then they worked ok, this was the first time I used it, no issues for a couple of hours, all good so far. Second night, I had the same problem, not sound at beginning but ok after a while. All lights green, no redThird night no issues. Fourth time using them, no sound, turned it off and back on, work great for 2-3 songs, then no sound. This all happened in the middle of a gig in front of 80 people. Turned it off and back on, it worked good for another song then off again. At this point everyone looking at me like what the F man. U turned it off and back on and at this point I could get and base sound to come out out of the unit so I had to shut everything down and basically made me look so bad in front of the audience that ruined my reputationI paid $3245 out the door and did not expect this to fail on me, specially a new system with 4 uses. You have no idea how disappointed I am with Bose brand. I always had them very high out there, hey it’s a Bose what could go wrong, that was my mindset when I bought it. Now I regret it. What’s good sound if not reliable. Essay away from this system, there’s nothing pro about it. Bose you just cost me my reputation and lots of loss incomeAgain not worth what they are charging, if you are a professional, have another system as backup if you decide to use them cause I guarantee, any moment they will fail you like they did to meI don’t wish anyone going thru what I’ve been to that night

My buddy bought one of these, went full on and even got the cases. He set it up and standing next to my amp I couldn't hear it at all, none of us could. I suppose if you used all acoustic guitars and no drums it might work, if you were in a quiet, sound proof booth. But if you want to play a gig forget it. None of these type of PA systems are worth the money. Some say they are 800w, others like this one do not even say how many watts. They sound to me like they are maybe 20-40w true watts, if that. I have owned boom boxes that are much more powerful. If you want a REAL PA then you need a Crown XTi 4002, a pair of JBL PRX425 speakers, and a mixer. Cost you about the same but you can actually HEAR it. If you add a pair of PRX418s subs and 2 more Crown XTi 4002 amps run bridged to both 18" speakers, well then you got a really nice, chest thumping PA. A professional setup, good for small, medium, and even large venues. And the sound is just incredible. This is the PA I use.Granted, this system is not as lightweight as these portable line arrays, (The JBL speakers weight about 75lbs. ea.) but it makes these portable line arrays sound like a cheap Walkman knockoff.
