I recently purchased this from zZounds. Could not be happier than I am with this product. This is one of the most amazing 10 watt combo amps I have ever heard and I've heard a lot in my nearly 60 years on this rock. For the most part I use to clean Channel with overdrive pedals. Had a couple really pricey Boutique amp in a box pedals and I've been using it with just my boss sd1 and I like the sound way better than with those expensive pedals cuz the amp already sounds good by itself just get to clean Channel close to the edge of break up. Then click on that boss sd1 pure tone heaven.

"Rockin' little amp"

This little amp sounds incredible. The studio 10 can get a range of tones that sound amazing; clean, bluesy, classic rock and even metal. It takes some pedals better than others but most of my pedals sound great through this amp. I use a tube screamer and/or a Boss OD3 with a Carbon copy delay and zakk wylde wah wah. This little creature can get some really mean tones so don't let the size fool you. This amp is perfect for bedroom use or jamming out with fellow musicians. The tones this amp creates will appease most guitar players. I love mine!
Sound
I play mostly classic rock and hard rock with a little blues on occasions. I use a couple different overdrive pedals but all in all, you really don't need one. I play a Charvel loaded with EMG's and a Fender Std USA strat and it gets some really nasty tones. I can get some searing lead tones with plenty of sustain.
Features
I love a simplified tube amp with very few knobs. It's easy to use, easy to dial in various tones. I use a Fender Strat and a Charvel Marco Sfogli model. Both sound amazing through this amp.
Ease of Use
YOu can dial in some awesome tones in a quickness!
Quality
The amp seems to be made well and with decent materials. It has a really cool look with the tan tolex and maroom grill cloth.
Value
I'd say it's probably worth the money due to the amazing tones. It's comparable in price to other combo amps this size/wattage.

Cool appeal. Great color combination: tan tolex and maroon grill cloth. Very appeasing to the eye!

I seem to have an affinity for Blackstar tube amps. Their mantra "the sound in your head" is spot on (for good or bad). Contrary to the manual and youtuber demos, this studio 6L6 has no ISF eq. Just a single vanilla tone knob controlling high and low frequencies. I like that. You get a Standby. It can power a separate cab. It has a series loop for effects with level. Headphone out that you can use to record plus its emulates a speaker cab. A Channel Footswitch is included. The amp does "quiet playing" very very well in the wee hours. Tone stays very good.
