I've only had this amp for a month and I'm already in deep love with it. I can not imagine playing thru anything else. The sound, the power, the looks, IT CAN NOT BE BEAT!
Sound
The tones I was able to achieve from this were absolutely amazing. Within just a few minutes I was able to dial it in for the exact sound I was looking for. Handles deep bass sounds and high treble very well.
Ive had Mesa's, I've had Marshall's, and within an hour, this amp became my all time favorite. Sounds absolutely amazing matched with my les Paul Custom.
The Blackstar handles everything from Metal to acoustic style rock beautifully!
Features
The ability to adjust the wattage from 100W down to 10W is great. It allows me to practice at home at lower levels without losing any of the tone or distortion.
The ISF control is much cooler and usefull than I ever thought it would be. It allows me to change the sound fast and easily without having to re-adjust all of the EQ settings.
Ease of Use
Having 4 channels makes adjustments pointless. Once its set up to my liking, all I have to do is switch between the channels.
Quality
So far this unit has taken everything I dished out to it. Well packaged for shipping and built like a tank.
Value
I can not imagine ever playing thru anything other than a Blackstar. This thing rocks!

I had a few questions regarding operation of the unit so I emailed Blackstar directly. They responded within hours and answered each question perfectly. They seem to be a caring company looking to please each customer.
The Wow Factor
This amp doesn't just sound amazing, it looks fantastic to. The gloss black front with the silver knobs has a look that cant be beat.

ive played many amps, marshall,carvin.fender. i read a review about these amps and bought the s1-104el34 blackstar. well in a few mins this amp rocked. the tone was awesome. ive played at about 20 live shows now, and i have tons of comments about my sound. combined with my les paul im in heaven. i will not play any other amp now.
great sound wether its rock,heavy rock metal or acoustic.
