I can't believe Blackstar packed so much awesome in such a sleek and affordable package. This stack does it all. Chimey, harmonic cleans. Lush overdrive from a mild JTM-45 grit, all the way to a face melting shred machine. Just hit an A Major and play a lead line, you'll see what this amp can do.I love how even on the highest gain settings the amp is still quiet with very little background noise. The ISF takes the amp from a tight focused bite, to a squishy, airy snarl. I've heard people think less of Blackstar because they're made in China (Designed in the UK) well, I sold a custom Demeter TGA 2 Inverter which I absolutely loved to get this stack. You can't beat the tone even if you paid 3k more. I've owned and played hundreds of amps, this amp has something special. That mojo, voodoo swamp juice tone. And to get that tone at 2 watts without pissing off your neighbors at your apartment is even better. Get this stack, it kicks ass!

Well I didn't get this from ZZ only because I had cash for a change and my local music store had one. That being said I played it an hour at the store and gigged with that night. Nothing short of aural ecstasy. My only complaint about this amp is lack of corner protectors on the head and cab. I'll be hauling this thing around so flight cases are in order.

Had a HT5 stack that was incredible. Sold it to get this and it was a great choice. The tones you can get from this amp are top notch! From the cleanest clean I ever played to a metal crunch. The look of it just pops with the British racing green and the tan tweed speaker cover. The 20 watt to 2 watt switch is a great feature.
