This amp has everything I was looking for in an affordable, gigging sized combo amp. It is extremely versatile when it comes to tone- everything from pristine cleans to nice fat crunchy overdrive. The Celestion Vintage 30 speaker is a nice addition over the standard model! The effects loop works well with delay and other effects pedals. My only complaint is that it's somewhat difficult to find a good matching cover for it at a reasonable price. Overall, this amp ROCKS and I highly recommend it for the price!

What a great spin on the totally respectable original club 40.Nice little speaker upgrade and very cool grill option are what puts this amp that range of "boutique".I own both versions thanks to Blackstar's pricing! The tonal options are truly limitless.Complete and total tube performance at its best,right in my price range!
