"A great machine at a great value. With fantastic options."

Overall, a wonderful little machine. Get it, you wont be disappointed. With so many features, ease of use, and flexability, all for a great price, you'll be very happy that you did.
Sound
The sound thru this is fantastic. I'm using with a windows Vista laptop using headphone out to 1/4 in on the board for my karaoke/dj shows and it sounds utterly fantastic.
Features
I'll be honest here, as for features, i'm very new to the mixer world. However, what comes with this for the price it is, compared to other similar prices mixers. you get alot.
Ease of Use
This is so very easy to use. Literally just plug and go. You can take a newbie like me and after some adjusting of the on-board EQ make all your different types of music sound like gold. Like i said, i use it for my karaoke shows. And for different song geners' you have to adjust, same with different people, you have different voices. With the built in reverb and EQ, it makes it very easy.
Quality
It's Behringer. I have some friends that have their own band and are professional musicians. Mackie and Behringer are the vendor of choice when it comes to equipment. This is a very sturdy piece of equipment. Not flimsy in the least.
Value
Get it. Period. If you are running a karaoke/dj show. Or want to record your own talent onto your computer, you get the most for your buck here. You'll be hard pressed to find one as good for the money you'll pay here.
Manufacturer Support
I havent used the support yet, however the provided documentation that came with this was easy to read and understand.
The Wow Factor
It's a good looking machine. What's nice is it's not too big, and not too small. Your fingers wont get in the way of each other when your messing with the controls. I needed a compact mixer to sit next to my laptop. This fits perfectly. Without being too small.

"Great features...but initial quality problem"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I will use this a lot...both for live performance and for recording. It is not the total solution for home multi-track recording, but for what it costs, it is very nice. I just fear that it may not hold up, considering the initial quality issue described above.
Sound
The channels are nice and clean. The eq's are really nice and warm sounding as advertised. The FX choices are good and I will use several based on different rooms I perform in.
Features
Four lo-z inputs are great for a small combo. On-board FX, portability, two stereo inputs, slide pots, one pre- & post- switchable aux send and one post aux send are all great features. Plus, the stereo to USB converter for recording is just great! Incredible for what it costs.
Ease of Use
easy to use IF you understand the features you have and where they are located.
Quality
I have to ding Behringer a bit here...I had to return my mixer due to an intermittant Aux send 1 channel. It cut out during a performance and the Aux send 1 pot would only function properly if I pressed down on it. Nasty little symptom in the middle of a performance. This should have been found at the factory.
Value
Well worth it...if it doesn't have a defect.
Manufacturer Support
Unknown, but the dealer's return policy is such that I could return it in 45 days and get a replacement. That is nice.
The Wow Factor
It is indeed a practical addition, but it is pretty cool looking.

"Ok mixer with fuzzy pres."

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am planning to replace this soon b/c of flaky first channel and fuzzy pre-amps. I wish I had known the pre-amps weren't great before buying.
Sound
Sound is lackluster generally. The preamps have quite a bit of fuzz in them. I worked around it some, but I can still hear it pretty clearly.
Features
Feature-wise it was pretty well stocked.
Ease of Use
Easy as any other mixer.
Quality
The faders are fairly sturdy, but some of the plugs are a little flimsy. I also have a flaky first channel.
Value
Not a great value. Maybe if the pres were cleaner I would give it an 8.
Manufacturer Support
I assume they would be helpful from what I've heard of Behringer.
The Wow Factor
Not much extra or out of the ordinary.

"Great mixer overall, maybe my Behringer experience was atypical."

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am trying to sell it, would be lucky to get half of what I paid for it.
Sound
The sound is of Behringer Quality but it lacks depth. The 3 band EQ is apropriate for this price range of mixers, but you'll need a real EQ (I'm using a sonic maximizer) if you want quality sound. I'm not using cheap cables either. I also find a problem with the level of sound output it produces, if I connect my audio source directly to my amp, it's plenty loud, but when the mixer is in between, even with the faders up almost all the way(without causing significant distortion), the volume seems pathetic.
Features
The USB audio interface is nice and you don't have to worry about replacing the entire unit (not like you would need to, after all, it's Behringer) if either the mixer or usb device dies, a definite advantage to getting mixers with the usb built in. The effects are superb and this mixer comes with 100! Better yet, the level of the effects is fully controllable and this mixer even has outputs and inputs if you want to use an external effects processor!
Ease of Use
There are plenty of features, but it definitely is simple to use. Everything is intuitive and the faders slide well and the knobs turn smoothly.
Quality
I only gave it a six because the rack ears it comes with do not attach properly. I know that each rack ear is designed for each side, but the holes for the screws do not line up, no matter what side I try with either rack ear. Behringer initially was very prompt in communication, but then it dropped off and I never received any replacement rack ears.
Value
Found lower prices (and paid less) from other Behringer Dealers. Even so, after my experience with this mixer, I would op for another mixer/manufacturer.
Manufacturer Support
Initially impressed, quickly disappointed with Behringer customer service.
The Wow Factor
Was inititally attracted to it because of the features and reputation, but became disappointed with Behringer's lack of service. Everything works, but the rack mountability was a main selling point for me.

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars

Overall it's an amateur mixer with medium qualitty (to be nice)
Sound
It's not good, i can guarantee you...
Features
Most of the feautures i don't use since i only use it to connect microphones. For those who do, it can be useful.
Ease of Use
You don't have to be a genius, but the manual could be better.
Quality
It's beringher!
Value
I would recomend to pay a little bit more and bring home a real mixer!
Manufacturer Support
Good support! If you ask them any question they will answer back the quikest possible and if it has any problem...you get a new one.
The Wow Factor

I did not work on the Laptop with Vista. The equipment itself looks in high quality however the little cheap UCA200 USB converter to pc simply did not work with Vista. I have been looking for information all over the world and seems a lot people have the same problem with no solution provided from their website at all. Plus they donot even provide you the UCA driver at all. Like to build a billion dolllar time machine but forgot to even build a door to let people in. Sounds silly but this is true.
