"Best bang for the budget-minded buck"
As a budget-minded amatuer musician, I always tend to go with gear at the low end of pro gear. This mixer fits the bill perfectly. The extra sub-out is essential for the home recording studio and combined with the M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 this gives me the best, clearest, quality sound for the cheapest price. I priced every combination I could find for mixers and audio cards, or just multi-cards, but nothing compares to the setup I have (again, for the $$ I paid).
The only thing I would wish is a separate control for the headphone level, but other than that, this mixer provides everything I need with a little room for future expansion, and it's pretty compact, too.
Excellent product!

"Great value, great sound."

After reading the reviews, and for the value of what I was going to receive for the price, this was the one I wanted
Sound
Very clean, Low noise ratio with the bus going into your soundcard. I use shure 57's and 58's for recording, and the preamps sound fine. I don't think they, the preamps, add a whole lot to the recording, but they keep it clean and natural.
Features
For the price this has all the features, a small home studio needs.
Quality
So far so good, I have had this for 5 months, no problems, all the knobs and sliders rotate smoothly and cleanly and feel sturdy enough. I'm not sure if I would go gigging with this, but for home use it is great.
Value
I'm not sure how behringer does it. Well actually I think I do, Manufactured in China, well using other products for their R & D. But hey I'm on a budget.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with support, so thats a plus to me...
The Wow Factor
Silver just isn't that sexy for a mixer, Should have been black.

"An amateur mixer for amateurs"

Was good until after 2 years when it started cutting out the signal. If you just want a cheap mixer that will get the job done, this is it. If you want a good professional mixer that will last, get a mackie. Mackie's are more expensive, but they are worth it because you will have it for a long time.
