It took me a while to purchase this unit as I was going to purchase a BBE882i which I believe to be the same or close to the same sound processing architecture. I promptly received the SU9920 in two days. The build quality seems to be okay yet the pots are not rigidly mounted to the face plate, they are instead board mounted which makes them flex a little bit. I set the unit up and ran it through a bit of a test run. I am running all QSC speakers: 2-K12s with one KS112 sub and a Behringer X2442USB mixer. The QSC speakers are studio quality sound to start with, with the SU9920 in play the sound is even more so stellar. The sound is cleaner and the lows and highs are spectacular. The SU9920 thus far has been every bit as good as the BBE882i. Time will tell about durability. I recommend this unit as it is a very inexpensive serious upgrade for most any sound system. zZounds has been great to work with, so much so that nearly all of my musical equipment has been purchased through them. The customer service has been great and the shipping on time excluding heavy holiday times.
