"Awesome player"

I bought a black Draco when they first came out. I ordered sight unseen, it was a sort of novel styling that could have been wall art, though the matching coffin case is where it looked at home. But then I got it. The quality of the construction was nice. The neck profile was great and easy to play. It was even comfortable to play sitting down. The neck through design works great on this guitar. I don't use a trem much and when I do I prefer top of the line trems. But this string through bridge was great for me, it stayed in tune well and I didn't have a trem in the way.The neck pickup sounds great, I had purchased a bunch of SD Hot Rails which is a similar design but liked the sound of these better.I didn't hit it off with the stock Rockfield Fat Ass pickup for whatever reason. I replaced it with a Bare Knuckles Miracle Man I did not like any better. Thats all personal preference and one needs to try them out for themselves to decide. The control cavity is a very small round one and no room for a 9 volt in there. One would have to locate a battery for actives somewhere else if they decided they had to have an active in the bridge. The body style is unique. It wouldn't look right playing Country music or most styles. The Spinal Tap look is a love or hate type thing, or at least looks best playing styles like metal. In this the end I had bought it for the looks but after receiving it I kept on finding one thing after another I really liked about this guitar, none body related, though I think a cool V style. For sure this is a player. Back then these sold for $799 which was mid-range pricing. I think it was better than that. I would like the same guitar with a bit less radical body style for a player. Whenever I look back at my guitar collection there were a few that were those I found great to play. I had a new USA Jackson Kelly and a couple of US G&L Strats among the players, the Draco is in there too.The B.C. Rich coffin case was quite large but a perfect compliment to the radical guitar. This was an excellent guitar. I had very little experience with BC Rich guitars before this, just a used SOB for my nephew. The Draco made BC Rich a guitar company I had serious interest in.

Although the aesthetic allure may not be for everyone, the razor blade sustain that comes with this neck thru body is truly incredible...and this guitar stays I'm tune...like really well...If you dig metal, the tones and action this guitar offers is soon to be legendary...I own 2 of them...both white...would love to score the Onyx one too...Cheers from CanadaWreck-Defy recorded their last album with the use of the aforementioned guitar

I am going to buy the white one, so I have a set.
Sound
Out of the five guitars I own, this immediately became my favorite for overall tone. Playing anything from All Shall Perish and As I Lay Dying to old Metallica and Obituary, this guitar just sounds bad ass.
Features
There really are none. This is a minimalist guitar for people who just want to plug in and make heavy music. No frills, no handicap or crutches, it's all about you and how you play.
Ease of Use
The action was set low out of the box, I just tuned it and played. It felt great.
Quality
Very light guitar, once you have it on, it feels great. I played for a couple hours and had no problem.
Value
Probably the best guitar I have owned, and I own a couple Jackson guitars and two other BC Rich guitars. If you play metal music, at least find a place where you can try one of these out! You will not regret it.
Manufacturer Support
No issues other than the gig bag that was recommended by the Zzounds phone guy: A) Was a complete joke, I wouldn't even use it as a trash bag for garbage, and B) Would no way, ever, fit this guitar. Not sure what he was thinking, but I had to return it, and spent a couple hours driving around town looking for a bag or case for this guitar.
The Wow Factor
If you are into odd or "non-standard" guitar shapes, this thing looks fantastic!

Grat shape, middle of the road hardware. Sounds and plays fantastic if you are into Metal.
Sound
I play a lot of Metal, from old Metallica to As I Lay Dying and All Shall Perish ... this guitar sounds great no matter what kind of amp I am playing through.
Features
This is the only issue I have: No case. Not even a gig bag. The thing was such an off shape I had to get a BC Rich Coffin Case for a bass guitar.
Ease of Use
Action was low to the frets out of the box. Plays great!
Quality
Feels nice and balanced when you are playing. Everything works great, no issues.
Value
Let's be honest, you are mainly paying a premium for an oddly shaped guitar. The hardware is pretty much middle of the road stuff, nothing amazing. If you are OK with this, then it's money well spent, if you are looking for a high end guitar to tour with, you can defiantly buy a less flashy guitar with better hardware if that's your thing.
Manufacturer Support
No problems, never had to call.
The Wow Factor
If you like odd guitars, this it awesome.
