I’ve had this little mic interface for years... There are no bells and whistles. This isn’t going to be your all-in-one solution for recording and mixing down most music, etc. If you need to do some voiceover work for training presentations, however - it’s much nicer than having to carry around a much larger (and expensive) I/O... and while the specs are clearly lower than what you can get in something like a Scarlett or one of the Steinbergs for another $50-100 or so - a lot of what I record will never come close to requiring that level of quality (pre or post mix). I have higher quality I/O’s as well - but, different toolsets for different purposes.Throw it in your bag with an a quality condenser (or headset), and you’re good to go. Recommended. That said, I see that Shure has something out now that seems may be a worthy competitor... I’m looking forward to checking that out as well. But, this has been doing me well for the better part of a decade (or more)... that says something huge in this space, where things generally become obsolete very quickly. It just works.
