I mounted this cartridge on a Denon DP-51F, running through a Denon PMA-970 with Cerwin Vega R-123 speakers. When I played through about 5 hours the sound was getting very good, weak mids but I did expect that. after 15 hours this thing just sings, on par with other cartridges I've spent 2-3X as much onIt's bright for sure but the mids really shine on this cartridge, nu mud, no sludge with clear defined bass notesSwitched stylus to the elliptical, about $80-$100 cheaper, picks up a lot more noise and ticks on even gently used LP's, I guess it would be fine for casual listening while doing other things but I put the ML Stylus back on for good.If you are in the market for a MM cartridge in the $200-$400 range, this is money very well spent. I highly recommend this cartridge
