Received a Pioneer SX-5580 vintage receiver for Xmas! (It’s a beast) needed a new turntable and did a lot of comparative studies of TTS in the 200 to 500 dollar range and this one has the best features and quality in that price range easily. Direct drive is quiet and instantaneous on and off. Does require set up slow and careful and watch a YouTube video the instructions are just pictures but it’s relatively simple and more than worth the sound quality. It took me about 20 minutes to set up. audio technica is a cartridge manufacturer and you can upgrade the existing one with a a number of different makes or not, it’s an option I’ll probably get to sooner or later. It’s totally manual which is fine with me when I’m listening to my system I’m not going to walk off and leave it running anyway. It has Bluetooth connectivity which I’ve used for my computer speakers and it hooked up quickly. It also has usb hookup with supplied cables, haven’t tried that tho looks easy enough tho. I am going to change out the felt mat with a tinted vinyl one tho. It’s a worthwhile step up from an entry level TT and the sound difference is noticeable. For $300 bucks it’s a very good deal in my opinion!

This Turntable is very Good for the price , Assembly was a breeze and it sounds Great. I change the Feet with bigger ruber to dampend distortion problems wich happend when playing loud. All said im very Happy with this Instrument.

This was a step up for me from my AT LP60. I love this turntable and the payment plan option is fantastic!
