If I could find a mike that was equally invisible, I'd buy it.
Features
I portray historical figures for school assemblies, and need a mike that nobody will notice. This mike is ideal because it conforms well to ear shape, is largely hidden behind the ear, stays put, and is so small that most of the audience never sees it. For that reason I am ordering my third--see quality issues...
Quality
I'm about to buy my third. I'm buying it because it's the smallest I can find, but each one has only lasted about 60 uses. The wire is too thin--it flexes enough that it doesn't take long for the wire to snap within the sheath.

"Great sound, but the plastic around the wire disintegrates waaaaay too soon"

Great microphone, but the durability is very very poor. Ours are only used for 3 hours per week, and began to literally fall apart after 18 months.

"Nice sound and features, poor durability."

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I won't purchase these microphones any more because of the poor durability.
Sound
The sound quality is solid and acceptably natural.
Quality
I purchased 16 of these microphones. After only 50 or so rehearsals/performances 5 of those 16 are no longer functional. 1 of the broken mics was abused - can't blame AT for that. The other 4 busted mics were handled with care. A 25% failure rate after such few performances is totally unacceptable. I love the low profile, but durability is markedly poor.
Value
At $300 a pop they should last longer.
