I purchased this product because it was suggested by a zZounds sales rep, my microphone slipped of the shock mount by itself and fell on the floor damaging the grill of the microphone, because I been waiting for 2 weeks just to get a compatible stable shock mount I had to rig my microphone with with Velcro tape so it won’t slip, not to mention that originally zZounds sold me the wrong size shock mount on my first order on the first order and that order came later than promised, they refunded that unit and suggested this one and it’s cheap the mount is supported by rubber bands not elastic ribbons like the traditional shock mounts
