Sound
I don't know what that last guy was talkng about... didn't make any sense. I've used it. It's okay. Used it on guitar buss for a final mix. worked well. Really good for the price. Can't think of another compressor for $300 I would use in it's place, so I guess I would call it a bargain. Thinking of buying one for the studio and live rig at this price!!!!
Manufacturer Support

"Black and sexy with a nice pair of lights. Err.. Lighted meters."

This unit has the unusual status of residing in both my "every day" first-thing-I-grab-for list AND my "secret weapon" list. Again, it's not for everything, but I haven't found much I wouldn't feel comfortable using it with.
Sound
Reminds me of an 1176... Nice "color" and unique tone. Adds a bit of hair on the highs but not too much. Worked well on pretty much everything I tried it on.
Features
Good features - Would be nice if you could link the gain controls... I like the fact that you can adjust them independently while in liked mode though...
Quality
Suprisingly good quality. More than impressive. Faceplate could be more durable for road use, but great for studio and light portable use.
Value
Can't get much more bang for the buck than this. It definately has "a sound" if this is "the sound" you're looking for, it's well worth twice the price.
Manufacturer Support
I'll have to give them a 10 because they haven't had a chance to piss me off... Yet...
The Wow Factor
I actually feel more attractive and intelligent for purchasing this unit.
