First of all i was going to pass on this and get something else but I'm glad i didn't.Rather your new to synths or pro there's something for everyone for all styles of music.With plenty of room to make your own paches.I've already took it out giging and did really well for a 3 hour set.I love using it with my TR-8 hooking midi up to it and really letting it fly but i will also be using it for sfx to.The keybed is awesome i just slide my fingers right across it.Sounds are good to so i would recommend this to anyone and just have fun with it

This is a fun little synth that you can mess around with for hours. First thing I did was blanked out all of the presets and got to work filling it with my own madcap laughter of ideas. The matrix seems convoluted at first, but it's really quite intuitive for a beginner once you get a grasp, once you learn how it works you generally learn how most synths work. It can sound a little cold by itself as it doesn't really have any effects, but run it through an NTS-1 or something and warm it right up with your favorite delays and reverb.

I didn't really NEED it, I have both the FL controllers, the Maschine M3, and quite a few other toys - but, something stood out to me with this one. The microphone + vocoder was that special touch that sold it for me. Outside of the vocoder ...there's actually quite a decent library of various leads,pads,percs,fx etc to play with. Just got it recently so haven't explored it too deep but already had alot of fun with it. Even just as a midi controller - it's got TONS of knobs,keys, and such to map for whatever automation exploration your heart desires. Plus, this thing just LOOKS awesome lolIt does take some time to figure out what you're doing and how to use the vocoder and etc if you're used to the plug and play functionality of a midi controller... but once you've figured out how to feed it into your daw and record it...that's when the real fun starts. And thanks to YouTube, that's easy as watching some videos.
