Love my new tenor aNueNue... finish is perfect, sounds GREAT, cool little laser-etched guys on it, couldn't be happier... I've gotten two ukes using the four payment system and wouldn't have been able to get them if not for that... THANKS zZounds! Great service, great products, perfect shipping/packaging... thanks again. Highly reccommend the aNueNue Papa III Tenor!!!

Sound
I had no experience with ukes before, I've been a guitarist and mandolinist forever, and thought I'd pick up a cheap uke. Then I saw some youtube videos comparing some of the ukes that are out there and decided to pay just a little bit more for a better product. Glad I did. This uke is fun to play, has a nice full sound, and it looks nice, too. Love the Grover tuners--I bought a number of Gibson guitars in my day, SG Standard, ES335, ES135, most of them came with those cheap plastic machine heads, and I always replaced them with Grovers right away. So the Grover heads on the uke are definitely a plus, holds the tuning nicely.
Features
The nicest accessory, and one which I find on a lot of quality instruments, is the nice little gig bag that comes with this product.
Quality
I bought this on-line...I usually hate doing that, especially when buying an acoustic instrument, because each one is unique. You can play one on the wall and then order one, and it could have a totally different sound. But since most guitar shops only have one or two ukes lying around for sale, it's tough to find one that you can play. So I took a chance, ordered on-line and was pleasantly surprised. Plays nice, good action, stays in tune, and the intonation is pretty good.
Value
Paid a little more for this particular product than I was planning on doing, but you get what you pay for.
The Wow Factor
As a guitarist, I feel a little silly playing a uke, but I've also played mandos. It helps if you have one that looks nice, and this one is quite aesthetically pleasing. Nice wood grain with the little line of stick figures carved into the mahogany, very classy.
