Allparts necks are FANTASTIC but... this is the first unfinished allparts roasted neck I've had. Every other roasted neck I've ever owned, or played has never needed finished. They've all been smooth as glass and the Warmoth roasted necks even tell you they DO NOT require a finish. This Allparts neck, although beautiful, felt like a typical raw wood that does require applying a finish. Keep this in mind when ordering. Again, it is a QUALITY and BEAUTIFUL neck, but you WILL have to apply a finish.
