Okay so my digital mixer needs could be different from yours but here’s how I use this mixer. I’m a content creator and needed a mixer that can be run as an interface for Logic at gigs. I previously had the TouchMix8 and was bummed that you can only multitrack to a usb device. It’s adding one extra step of transferring data that’s eating up productive time in my workflow. I also have to add the audio to the video once it’s edited and prefer the multi tracks incase my signal to my cameras aren’t balanced. The CQ12 doesn’t have the A&H WiFi onboard(which I prefer) so I can use my own router and control the network. The most impressive thing to me is the size. It’s tiny and has 10 analog inputs plus a stereo LR ts(12 total). I opted for the rack mount ears to complete my gigging box(roadcase with GoPros, MacBook Air, cabling and mics). I got mine at blemished pricing but would’ve happily paid the new rate! Wedone Allen & Heath and thank you zZounds for the hookup
