I would get an Alesis with more features, submix groups.

Sound is wysiwyg. Same in, same out. Clean. Good phantom power. No lag, even with all 16 inputs.

Cubase LE.Nice if it had more sub groups.

I haved used this mixer in live situations with my macbook,and latency wasnt a real problem.In fact I added compresion and limiting in cubase and it worked great.like a digital mixer. very satisfied
