I have since converted all of my pads to mesh head triggers. (hallow) and I am very satisfied with it now.
Sound
This has to be the loudest trigger I have ever heard. the makers are lying by saying that these pads are quiet enough to use in an apartment.
Features
It is a benefit that the pads use an actual rim cuz you can replace the stock mylar skin with mesh heads. Dynamic range is good. It is also in no way tunable.
Ease of Use
It can only mount one way. Definite - on that. but it still mounts easily.
Quality
the style of construction it uses has a disk of foam rubber right underneath the mylar skin that will eventually for air bubbles and make the pad reduce its rebound. and if you have the pads tilted to far, your stick will leave a nasty dent in the skin.
Value
THis pad is a a good value. It is easy to convert to mesh heads and easy to repair if need be.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't dealt with tech support.
The Wow Factor
not desirable at all.
