I plan on playing this puppy till it dies...and then buying another one.
Sound
Sounds are amazing. I use it in a cover band and have easily been able to find exact drum sounds used in newer pop songs (shake it, cupid shuffle, etc.) Used them for about 15 gigs, and other musicians said they didn't even realize I was using e-drums until they came up to look. Built in effects are beyond anything I would ever need, but it's nice to have them. I had a DM5 for years and liked the sounds, but the limited editing was frustrating. No longer a problem.
Features
Sounds are great, effects are great, options are great. You get the idea. I am still using an acoustic hi-hat with my set-up. Electric one sounds fine, but the pedal isn't quite "right" even with calibration. I get a lot of quick "chings" when I'm trying to get a closed sound with my foot. When doing quick open close patterns on the hi-hat I don't get the response I want. Choke strips on the cymbals work perfectly. I love the look of the cymbals as well.
Ease of Use
There is definitely a learning curve when you go to set up the triggers. There are many useful options for velocity, sensitivity, etc., but if you're new to it, expect to spend a few hours getting the setup you want.
Quality
The clamps for the rack mount are plastic, with plastic wing nuts. I find it hard to get them really tight on the rack and had issues with them slipping. I'm a bit concerned about them breaking, but so far no everything is ok. The rubber on the rims is pretty thin. It feels nice when you're playing them, but the rubber is now gone on my snare pad (I am not a heavy hitter by any means). I also have an issue with the tension rods slipping out on my snare and the bolt coming out from the bottom. Easy fix, but it's annoying looking for the tiny nut on a dark stage at 1:00 in the morning. Other than that, the pads feel great and I'm able to do quick double stroke rolls with great response. I will probably switch this over to my gibralter rack with heavy duty clamps.
Value
Are you kidding me? Worth every penny.
Manufacturer Support
I was having false triggering issues when I first got the set out of the box. Called Alesis, quickly got a REAL person on the phone who walked me through some set-up tips and even emailed me a beta patch that immediately fixed the problem. The representative even left me his email address to get directly to him should I have any future problems (which I have not).
The Wow Factor
Cymbals look real, I love the black drums. The kit just looks smooth.

Very good overall, a little loud honestly, but it's not a problem.
Sound
Very good sound quality and lots of sounds to choose from!
Features
Lots of capabilities, abilities to add lots more cymbals or toms!
Ease of Use
Pretty easy to use. It's very difficult at first though.
Quality
Seems to me like it will last. But enough with the complements, it gets pretty loud, the toms sound like your hitting very hard rubber and the cymbals are like hitting metal with plastic over it, which is basically what the cymbals are made of. But that's not an issue for me much. The module has lots of sounds and tuning capabilities. The drums themselves feel really good and are good for speed! They will never break if that's what you're worried about.
Value
VERY AWESOME VALUE, the roland td4sx is like $1600 and has about 1/10th of the sounds.
Manufacturer Support
I don't know I've only used it. thats why I gave it a 5.
The Wow Factor
I for real want one.

I bought the DM10 Pro to use as a practice kit. I'm not happy with it at all and will be returning it. I haven't played on an electronic kit for about 10 years, so naturally I thought that the technology might have improved a bit. Unfortunately, I think Alesis took a few steps backwards on this one. The feel is OK, but not what I expected. The stick noise is unbearable unless you use isolation headphones. I cannot seem to get the PLASTIC clamps tight enough to keep the drums in place. Also, after only about 5 minutes of playing I am noticing some pretty nasty dents in the drum heads and I'm not hitting hard at all - using normal wood tip sticks. The Hi-Hat control is terrible. Also, about 1 out of 5 rack tom hits triggers either the ride or crash due to rack vibration. The actual sounds aren't bad but would require a TON of tweaking to get them to sound natural. With all of that said, I should've known better - you get what you pay for.
