I bought a couple of guitars here on zZounds and they came with padded bags. When I set my guitars down I'd accidentally hit the strings or accidentally kick the bag or knock it down when it's standing in the corner. Since I didn't want to break anything, I started looking around for used hard shell cases but most of them are well worn, broken, only come with another guitar, or too expensive for a used guitar case. When zZounds had a couple of new cases available for a little more than many of the used cases I had looked at, I bought 2. They are excellent, arrived in a few days, and both guitars fit nicely. I had an opportunity to purchase a couple of new cases for a few dollars less if I bought them locally but then the taxes would make the cost per case just about the same and I would have to drive to get them. The cost of gas would have made to total costs per case even more so I feel that I got a very good value for a few dollars less and didn't have to leave my house to get it.
