I plan on using this for a very long time. My main bass is the 4003 Ric but I use this together with that at shows.
Sound
The bass has a very nice overall tone...think Warwick meets Carvin. Very wood-like. It is also very diverse due to the EMG Pickups. You can dial in just about anything.
Features
Great hardware, very nice bridge (definitely an upgrade in both departments from the older stilettos). Binding is a nice addition and the neck thru is like butter.
Ease of Use
Probably the most comfortable bass I own. I own a few and this just has the best feel overall.
Quality
As mentioned before, the older Stiletto series had some crappy hardware and this is a much better upgrade. The finish is amazing. Pickups are a good match for this bass and the fretboard is smooth as can be. Very fast and the action was pretty low which scared me at first but I grew into it and now I wouldn't have it any other way.
Value
In closing, this is well worth the $800 price tag. I own a '96 American P, A 4002 Ric and an '84 Peavey Fury and this is a great addition. It is probably the only "Modern" style bass I will ever use.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with them, so I wouldn't know
The Wow Factor
It is drop dead gorgeous...........
