Samick Greg Bennett Interceptor 1 Electric Guitar

Agathis body, rosewood fingerboard, hot humbucker pickup in the bridge and single coils in the middle and neck positions

As playing styles became more extreme, musicians were eager for a more aggressive look in a traditional body format. Enter the pointy cutaway. This is another design that presents its own set of challenges. The extreme pointed cutaways change the proportions of the body and very often the upper and lower cutaways look like they belong on different guitar.

The Interceptor provides that aggressive attitude while maintaining the visual and physical balance that makes the design work. Check out the deep set neck pocket. It really makes the guitar feel tight and increases the punch, almost like a set neck guitar. This is really unusual in bolt on neck style guitar.

Duncan Designed pickups provide the ultimate in tone, power, and control.

The angled back headstock produces greater string bearing pressure at the nut. This improves string attack and sustain.

I recently purchased this guitar from Guitar Center for only $89.99 !!! It plays very strong with my more hard Bluesy style. It is a bit heavy, but I guess I can look past that for the price I paid.

Musical Background:

I have been playing for almost 42 years now. I mainly play the Electric Guitar, and Some Classic Guitar !!

Musical Style:

I Play What I Call Heavy Blues, and also Christian Rock with some Contemporary Christian thrown in for good measure !!!
