the good sound + the great value = 8 for me
Sound
This is the only splash I've owned so far, I like it, and do consider myself hard to please. I usually don't like Sabians in general, but I do like the nice "caw" sound this cymbal gives. It all depends on who you are though... it's not super splasy but it is light and has a nice sound that's a real contrast to the rest of my cymbals. When picturing the sound, think, "caw". It's fairly loud.

Quality
I believe it's made well, I've had it for 1 year now and it's still in perfect shape, but I'm also not a really hard hitter. It does NOT sound like a cheap cymbal. No icky overtones or anything.
Value
It's the most inexpensive, not cheaply made splash I could find. I want nice stuff for my set, for sure, but I don't have ALL the money in the world. I would buy it again if I could find it for $60 again, because I know it's a safe buy and don't necessarily have a reason to buy a different one. I'm also not oppossed to looking around for another splash that might sound even better... but I don't know.. not sure if I'll find a better deal.
