I will use it forever

Sound
I have used this product for a year now and I have to say it is a great sounding mid/hi cabinet which I use in conjunction with my dual 18 inch SP218's. With the right volume level, my customers are "immersed" in sound that surrounds and penetrates them without being over-bearing. I believe good quality sound balanced between the lows, mids and highs, with the right music selection create an atmosphere of dancing enjoyment. This is why I tri-amp my system as opposed to using full range mode.

Features
I give it a 9, because I would like to have had two switchable speakons side by side for chaining cabinets with a jumper. Otherwise, I love the switchable speakon plug--one cable to a cabinet instead of two!

Ease of Use
I use an external cross over and external power amp's--old school, I know, but I believe I have more control over the sound quality that way.

Quality
Strong and light--easy to set up and take down--Saves my back--Thanks Peavey! I've pushed it for high volume--not distortion or vibration or cabinet barking. I think it will last forever.

Value
Every maker of high quality gear--Peavey, Mackie, McCauley, JBL, etc., have they cheap stuff, mid range gear and concert series speakers. In comparison with the others, you will not find a better speaker series by series for a lower cost that Peavey. read more I would match the Peavey versary or Q-Wave speakers against anything McCauley or JBL can set up for concert series. The versary sub, for example, will handle more power, sound as good or better than a JBL or McCauley and cost 25-50% less.

Manufacturer Support
I call if I have a question--I can always reach them. Thanks to the techs, I have learned a lot--to not do something stupid.

The Wow Factor
Good looking speaker--looks attractive and professional at the same time.
