This is the difference between the two is as follows: the Gibson is far heavier in weight, has a much heavier, deeper tone, but is far less versatile. The PRS is very light in weight, extremely versitile, and has a neck that feels like home should. Looks gorgeous, and if you ever held one, you'd never want to put it down!!! The only drawbacks are that it is so beautiful and makes me very cautious to play it, not wanting to even smudge the finish, much less scratch it by accident!!! I even wash my hands with alcohol before taking it out of it's case! I only wish it had the the thin neck, like my first series Randy Rhoads, shark-fin jackson. I have lost count of all my guitars, but my PRS studio 10 top makena blue, is one of my most prized possessions!!!

Musical Background:

Im almost 50, and have been playing guitar since I was 7. Ive been in many bands, but now only play for fun.

Musical Style:

Everything from classical, to death metal.
