The Janus one-piece "Transmission Hi-Hat System" patent-pending design mechanism is the logical marriage of Hi-Hat and Double Bass Drum Pedal "slave" units into one super-stable stand. The Janus Trani-Hat allows the player to easily go from Hi-Hat to Double Bass Drum Function by simply shifting a universal footboard. a great product at a great price. What's not to love?
Sound
the sound is in a quality of its own. when u put zildjian a custom hats on it, the structural quality shows, as the trani holds little to no vibrations.
Features
the best part about janus is that u don't have to think about where u placed your double base foot pedal. Instead of slipping your foot onto another pedal, sometimes causing error, you simply click your foot over and use the double bass function. Why didn't they think of this before?
Quality
it is made of quality materials. Mine has shown no trouble and seems structurally sound for years of play.
Value
compared to buying a whole hi-hat system and double bass system seperately, the $350 I spent was money well saved
The Wow Factor
everyone who is anyone should try this system, i think they would switch over if they knew how well it played
