This guitar will be my pride and joy for years. My ESP/LTD is my workhorse, but this guitar will see plenty of shows youtube videos. Down the line, I may want to see if i can have an Edge Pro installed, but thats about it. If this was lost, i'd never forgive ymself but quicjly buy another one. if it was stolen, id track the thief down and take it back, like Liam Neeson in Taken. (brutal movie) anyway, I wish i'd known how hard it was to play my older guitars when i bought this one, i feel bad! i love the pain on this guitar above all things, but its alot more thna just the look that keep me picking it up. The neck, the sound and everything else are just flawless on this guitar.

Sound
Like most Ibanez guitars, this one was definitely made for metal. However, its still very versatile. I play alot of distorted, high gain, low tuned metal but when i switch to playing blues or ambient, chord oriented material, this Ibanez handles it flawlessly. No matter what kind of amp or effect its being played through, the sound remains crisp, clear and very bright. I play through a Randall 120RHS (ordered through zZounds, thanks guys) and a Line6 Spider III 30 watt and 150 watt head, and no matter what this guitar sings. I also recommend this guitar with any monster gold tipped cables.

Features
Not much is offered in features; just your basic Ibanez guita- oh wait. the maple neck and fingerboard Wizard II neck. Its flawless, much read more thinner than i thought id ever like, but its so easy to play in any position. The Edge III bridge is true to form, allowing any amount of dive-bombs and Herman Li-style antics and NEVER falling out of tune for a second. The pickups, INFs, sound much better than your average stock pickups; the sustain is just amazing, and harmonics are clear on every fret.

Ease of Use
The only thing that was weird for me is how low the tremolo arm was when i purchased it; when I tried to grab it, i kept hitting the volume knob on the swing up. a simple allen wrench adjustment later and i was all set.

Quality
for 400 bucks? this guitar is just too good to be true. the neck, the wood used, the pickups, the paint, the durability, the versatility- make no mistake, this is a GREAT buy. I feel like everything on this guitar will last for years to come, the electronics, the wood itself, everything.

Value
I compared this to the ESP/LTD MH53 i already own, a few Schecters, other ESP/LTDs, and a Jackson Dinky model. Out of all of these guitars, the Ibanez made the most sense, both practically and cosmetically. Some of them had the sustain, but not the playablity, or vice verse; the Ibanez had it all.

Manufacturer Support
haven't had to deal with em, but im guessing: awesome.

The Wow Factor
dude, have you SEEN this thing??? I bought one after seeing Ryan Knight (now of the Black Dahlia Murder, ex-Arsis) play a Prestige model live. The look, the sound, the feel of this guitar, even the weight made me want it. It brings recognition for live shows, makes practicing even more fun and its just great to play. i feel like with this guitar i can find ways to make myself a better player.
