"This is one of those guitars where you look for weeks at every store in town and nearby and know immediately when picking up it'"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I expect this guitar to become an heirloom instrument.
Sound
This sound is very well defined. I own several collector's guitars like an early D-28 Martin and a nice Gibson Songwriter and this medium tier Guild holds its own. While NOTHING can compare to my Martin, the Guild sounds very close in terms of range and volume. It's a surprisingly high quality instrument and I paid 800 bucks for mine with case.
Features
Everything on this guitar works as you should expect.
Ease of Use
I play fingerstyle and this guitar seems to prefer that over strumming. It's one of the easiest playing guitars I own. Most of the time I'll take a guitar to my trusted Luthier for a proper setup but this one invites me to play in every register without any problems. The relief and the action must have been carefully adjusted at the factory which is very unusual for a guitar of this price.
Value
You can't beat the quality/price ratio of this guitar. It plays and sounds like guitars two to three times its price.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to contact Guild for any reason.
The Wow Factor
If I ever lost this one it would break my heart and I would have to replace it immediately.
